Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has asked Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United one more year, according to a report in England.

The Sun is reporting that Solskjaer is eager to keep Pogba at Old Trafford to help spur his rebuilding job at the 20-time English champions.

The same article states that the Red Devils believe they could secure their £120m asking price for Pogba if the France international stays at the club until the end of the 2019-20 season.

According to the same story, Juventus are interested in a deal to bring Pogba back to Turin but the Serie A champions don’t have the finances to complete a swoop for the Manchester United record signing.

The Sun go on to state that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has already spent most of his £300m budget on new signings so los Blancos don’t have the funds to land a deal for Pogba.

Pogba has largely failed to live up to expectations since his £89m move to Manchester United for Juventus in the 2016 summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has only won the Europa League and the League Cup since his return to Manchester United nearly three years go.

Manchester United finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term.
